Be still, my beating heart! A third new semi-automatic AR-15 style shotgun available on the market. Say hello to the Derya Mk10 V.106.
Holy moly, me oh my. Yet another non-restricted semi-automatic shotgun of AR design is on its way, albeit with a higher price tag. The Derya Mk10 V.106, like the Torun M12 we wrote about earlier today or the Uzkon BR99 we wrote about yesterday, hails from Turkey and as all the same general features – removable A2 style carry handle and front sight post, adjustable/folding stock, is box magazine-fed, and has accessory rails on the top, bottom, and sides, and a chromed 20″ barrel that shoots 2-3/4″ and 3″ 12-gauge shells.
But what separates the men from the boys? Well, for starts the upper and lower receiver is made from milspec T7075 aluminium and accepts any AR15 accessories including stocks and pistol grips. But wait, there’s more! It ships with a padded suede case with precut foam, which you’ll find is home to several accessories from a breacher choke, 2 5-round magazines, and a single 2-round magazine. It also comes with a warranty backed by distributor O’Dell Engineering – the same guys who handle Colt Canada’s distribution and warranty, so you know you’re safe if something breaks. Of course, this all comes at an expectedly higher price, retailing for around $1050 and will be available exclusively from O’Dell. Stock will become available shortly after SHOT Show 2016.
